London ( apply-4-loans ) July 10, 2006: Britain's higher education minister Bill Rammell indicated that some new rules will be put into practice in student loans such as graduate loans, computer loans for the welfare of the students. These new rules would enable the student to apply for loans and university at the same time. Mr. Rammell said "I want students to understand that they don\'t have to worry about how they will pay their fees and living costs: they can take out loans or grants and only have to begin paying back their loans once they are earning more than £15,000."
Mr. Rammell insisted that the student finance service should be simple and easily accessible to students, parents and graduates. He further added: \"As well as clearer information, faster decisions, timely payments and accurate repayments, the transformed service intends to provide taxpayers with better value for money by generating savings from delivery processes to be spent on other priorities.\"
